The SEM Committee is today, 28th March 2024, publishing a consultation paper on a proposal to introduce early delivery incentives to the CRM ahead of the T-4 2028/29. The proposed approach would see early delivery incentives apply to all auctions until further notice.
The SEM Committee will seek to publish the decision paper in late April/early May to provide investors with the confidence to enter the upcoming T-4 auction, due to take place on the 28th November, knowing that they will be rewarded for early delivery of capacity.
Responses to the consultation paper must be sent to both the CRU and UR CRM Submissions inboxes (CRMsubmissions@cru.ie and CRMsubmissions@uregni.gov.uk) by no later than 17:00 on April 15th, 2024.
