The SEM Committee today,10 March 2026, publishes its decision on the DS3 System Services Tariff Review.
The paper sets out a decision on the reduction to the Temporal Scarcity Scalar (TSS) that shall take effect one month from this SEM Committee decision.
Based on the analysis provided to date by the TSOs to the Regulatory Authorities, the SEM Committee is unable to take a decision at present with regards to the TSS values effective from 1 October 2026. The TSOs should engage with Regulatory Authorities, and carry out further analysis and Consultation to recommend a broader range of options.
