Regulatory Framework for NEMO from October 2022
The CRU and UR are today, 15 July 2022, publishing a joint Consultation Paper on the regulatory framework for Nominated Electricity Market Operators (NEMOs) from October 2022. The purpose of this joint UR-CRU Consultation Paper is to outline options for a framework for future regulation of NEMOs in Ireland and Northern Ireland during the next phase of regulation from 3 October 2022. This follows on from on the same topic. Respondents are invited to provide their opinion on the joint RA proposal to switch the NEMO designation period from 3 years, as set in SEM-19-019, to an enduring basis.
