On 19 October 2022, SEM Committee published the Best New Entrant Net Cost of New Entry (BNE-Net CONE) Consultation Paper (SEM-22-076), along with the assessment of the BNE Net CONE from CEPA/Ramboll for the capacity year 2026/27 (SEM-22-076a). Following feedback from the industry, the SEM Committee has decided to provide an opportunity forthe market participants to submit any questions in writing on the assumptions and/or methodology used in the report (SEM-22-076a) to calculate BNE. Following the receipt of the questions, CEPA will prepare a document containing answers to the questions sent by the market participants, which the SEM Committee will aim to publish on the SEM Committee website a week before the close of the BNE Consultation. Please note that it may not be possible for CEPA/Ramboll and the RAs to provide answers to all the questions received due to time constraints. Any interested market participants can send their questions to both Merin Joseph (mjoseph@cru.ie) and Donna Maye (donna.maye@uregni.gov.uk) by close of business on 21 November 2022. The SEM Committee will aim to publish the answer document by 24 November 2022.
