I-SEM ETA Supplier Charges Charging Basis Decision Paper
The SEM Committee has today, 16 February 2017, published a decision on the appropriate basis for the levying of supplier charges in I-SEM. This follows a consultation paper on the matter which was published on 3 October 2016.
In the consultation paper three potential bases on which supplier charges could be levied on suppliers in I-SEM were discussed: Net Demand; Non-Negative Net Demand; and Gross Demand. Interested parties were asked to submit their views on the most appropriate basis and over 360 responses were received.
This decision paper discusses the key issues contained in the responses and outlines the SEM Committee’s decision on the matter.
