Non-Directed Contracts and PES Regulation in the SEM
On May 25th the Regulatory Authorities published two papers concerning Non-Directed Contracts and PES Regulation in the SEM, and relating to the initial period of operation from 1st November, 2007 to 30th September, 2008. The first paper, prepared by ESB Power Generation and NIE Power Procurement Business, sets out the principles and high level proposals for the sale and purchase of Non-Directed Contracts. This paper is published for information only. PG and PPB are inviting any interested parties to meet with them on Wedneday 30th May at 2:00 pm in Hilton Hotel, Belfast to discuss both the process and products to be offered and implementation issues. The second paper sets out proposals by NIE Supply and ESB Customer Supply concerning the principles for the regulation of both PES in the SEM.
