This paper describes the SEM Committee’s decision on the relevant parameters to apply in the 2022/23 T-1 capacity auction, scheduled to take place in October 2021. This decision follows the issue of a public consultation on 11 January 2021 (SEM-21-001) This is a supplementary auction to the 2022/23 T-4 auction held in March 2019. That auction procured 7,412MW of de-rated capacity. The parameters proposed are the same as those used in recent auctions, most notably the 2022/23 T-4 auction. The list of parameters to be determined by the Regulatory Authorities is described in paragraph D.3.1.3 of the Capacity Market Code. These parameters will be included in the Initial Auction Information Pack for this auction, which is scheduled for publication by the TSOs on 13 April 2021. |
