The Regulatory Authorities have received and deemed the following Modification Proposal to be Urgent:
CMC_17_23: Updates to Locational Capacity Constraint areas
The Modification Proposal seeks to:
- (a) provide more flexibility in the determination of LCC areas; and,
- (b) to provide for instances where the defined methodology does not fully capture particular effects on the transmission system.
This Modification Proposal will be presented at the next capacity modifications workshop, due to take place on Thursday 20 July 2023.
The RAs have today, 11 July 2023, published the timetable setting out how the RAs plan to consult and make a decision with respect to the Proposal.
As set out in the timetable, the RAs intend to consult on this Modification Proposal from 21 July 2023 – 02 August 2023, following capacity market modifications workshop 32 on 20 July 2023.
