SEMO 2018 – 2021 Capital Expenditure Decision Paper
The Regulatory Authorities have today, 2 February 2021, published the SEM Committee’s decision on SEMO’s Capital Expenditure Allowance for the period 2018-2021. This decision paper follows a consultation (SEM-20-086), published on 30 November 2020, and will inform the tariff process which takes place during summer 2021.
The SEM Committee has taken account of responses to the consultation (published alongside the decision), as well as an Addendum to SEMO’s consultation response in determining final allowances. The final allowances represent a reduction to that which was consulted on; this is attributed to ensuring that the correct regulatory treatment is applied to SEMO’s RAB and adjusting proposed allowances in line with new information received from SEMO during the consultation period.
