Today, 10th August 2016, the SEM Committee published its final decision on the 'Fixed Cost of a Best New Entrant Peaking Plant, Capacity Requirement and Annual Capacity Payment Sum (ACPS) for the Trading Year 2017' containing the final values to apply for the 2017 Trading Year, including the Sum itself of €519,227,150. As the I-SEM will replace the SEM in Q4 2017, the ACPS will only run from January until the end of September, the planned go live date for I-SEM in Q4 2017. Payments will sum to a total of €366,193,334 during that period.
